After getting several questions about the Great American Read. This list contains 100 fantastic books. I decided we needed that to be the next display at the Marshall Public Library. Staff Picks

For years we have had a section on our website for staff picks AKA staff recommendations. After moving some books to different shelves and gaining a place for another display we decided that it would be fun to display what our librarians recommend.

Display started with 20 books on it and after 1 week I needed to restock a few times. So it is good to have a list with several books on it to refer to. List will soon be available on the library's webpage.

Libraries ROCK!

The summer reading program theme this year is Libraries Rock! So I thought it would be perfect to list some of the reasons why. This bulletin board is located in our lobby. Clip-art is from www.cslpreads.org.

A co-worker let me borrow one of her vintage wedding toppers that she used as a centerpiece at her reception.

A book with a wedding in it is also one of the 50/50 Book Quest categories.

Audiobooks "Have you heard?"

I placed a plastic holder containing handouts for RB Digital on the side of the bulletinboard.
